The food was very well prepared, the Karpfen was not slimey at all As it sometimes when when the chef does not take his time to properly clean it. The Sauerbraten was very delicious, though a liiiiiitle bit dry, but really nothing bothering! The location of course is beautiful right at the lake, the terrace located with great view. Will come back for sure when we’re in the area.

The location on the lake and the view of the rocks are worth a visit. The light wood furniture spreads cosiness. Due to hygiene measures, the operators have stretched a transparent film wall between the individual tables and also covered the tables with this film. I think that's a good idea. The dish of the day was unfortunately too mediocre in taste, too few spices and refinement were used. The apple pie can take a little more apple and cinnamon You should therefore put spices on the tables .. Service fast, clean and friendly.

Despite the Corona restrictions, the service from the nice and attentive staff as well as the dishes and the wonderful view over the lake was excellent and worth the visit. The fact that the well-kept parking spaces are free of charge even for non-visitors to the restaurant is also a plus for the community of Happurg, which I would like to come back to.

The restaurant service is super! Very fast and kind! Food has a good taste and quality. Not many options, but the available are well done. The deserts, specially the cake of the day is always a great choice with a good coffee. The location is nice, in front of a lake, dam and mountains. Sitting outside, even in a not so shine day brings a very good experience. Do not forget to make reservation!

No compliance with the 1.5 meter safety distance. Very rude service and digital recording of personal details is not accepted, although QR codes are displayed. Apparently the waitresses are not familiar with this, as the statement was made that a green tick here does not mean that it was successful. The tables are also not disinfected between visitors, but only roughly wiped with a rag.

Low professionalism when requesting a celebration. No response to emails, promised telephone callbacks do not take place. Impossible to plan a celebration here!

Food and service good. Corona measures are implemented very well. Not much is missing for the 5th star.

We ate well inside while eating. You can sit outside and look out over the lake. However, we had to keep driving away the clinging wasps. The food was fresh and tasty.

Very good corona management! Super nice location right on the lake. Easily accessible by bike and of course by car including enough parking spaces! Very nice service, large selection of delicious dishes for the whole family! Always a highlight ... we'd love to come back!

Conclusion: overpriced, not good food and absolutely unfriendly staff You come to the restaurant and ask for a Schäufele and get a short, cheeky answer: No. So far so good. I then ordered the loins and the staff asked us for a side salad, which was extra on the bill afterwards. (Should / should / should have pointed out) About the meal: The loin was very dry, the mushrooms were not bite-sized (absolutely too big) and the portion (3 small pieces of meat) was far too expensive for just under € 16. Never again!

Simply outstanding. Food, service, location, price-performance ratio top. Even with many guests no long waiting times and top quality. We love this restaurant.

Conclusion in advance: "closed due to wealth" My wife asked about the baptism of our son and was immediately passed on without comment to the "boss", who does not even master the basics of polite handling and does not consider it necessary to greet. Instead, it trumps with a sympathetic "what do they want" and proves in the further conversation that customer friendliness is definitely not one of his core competencies. On the other hand, arrogance, stupidly addressing customers, arrogance and irreverence absolutely! Congratulations on this excellent and incredible achievement excuse us for leaving our money with you. Will definitely not happen again!

Here you can see that the operator is driven by capitalism. Granting only help to a traveler (briefly charging the cell phone), provided that this generates revenue in his restaurant, simply has nothing to do with humanity. I would have loved to have dinner here with my friends and acquaintances, but that has now been done.

On Friday, June 26th, we were back in Happurg for the first time in a few decades. The restaurant is beautifully situated on the lake. We were welcomed very friendly! The menu offers something for every taste, the food was very tasty and nicely presented. The staff turned towards the guest. Great praise. We will be back and felt in good hands.
